Canada Not to be Counted Out in the Swine Flu Race.
Everybody wants to be next to report new cases of Influenze A H1N1, swine flu, Mexican Flu (or WHATEVER we’re calling the darn thing)! Canada’s government is reporting an that their cases have NEARLY DOUBLED! The 4 Albertans who were diagnosed with swine flu have been instructed to "stay home", and when Alberta Health Minister Ron Liepert was asked by the media if the province has any plans other than daily briefings to keep the public from overreacting.
"Other than trying to communicate to folks like you……,"’ Liepert said.
In the meantime the press reports that
Canadian officials announce a torrent of new confirmed swine flu cases
Does anyone know how many a "torrent" is?? Prime Minister Stephen Harper assured the public that governments around the world are working together on the issue, even as Canada’s caseload almost doubled to 34 with 15 new confirmations, including the first in Quebec.

nah nah we have "governments around the world" working on OUR new cases!
"Thankfully, all cases in Canada continue to be mild," Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq told a news conference in Ottawa.
I think her last name has the flu!
