The state health chief said Thursday that Georgia has its first case of swine flu — in a 30-year-old woman from Kentucky who was visiting the state. The woman, whom officials would not identify, is in a hospital in LaGrange in Troup County, said Elizabeth Ford, head of the state Division of Public Health.
I don’t think that counts though. She’s not actually FROM Georgia, she’s from Kentucky. Dr O’Neal was last seen doing one potato, two potato with a health official from Kentucky to see who could claim her.

Swine Flu Up to Level 5. Despite the fact that the media and governments are all atizzy, I just want to inject a little reason here. A handful of people have died from this, and only one outside of Mexico. A couple of hundred infected people sounds like a lot but please.. put this into perspective.As of April 2009, the Earth’s population is estimated to be about 6.77 BILLION.
